I am not a physician, pharmacist, infectious-disease specialist, or medical researcher. I do not diagnose or prescribe. My first-hand contribution is my own experience going through Babesia symptoms, prescription treatment, periods of improvement and relapse, and the approaches I personally felt helped me most.
On medical-information pages, personal experience is kept separate from clinical recommendations. CDC and IDSA guidance, human clinical trials, peer-reviewed reviews, animal studies, in-vitro experiments, and mechanistic research are labeled according to what they actually show.
When I was sick, I wanted detailed answers without having to choose between a two-paragraph clinical summary and websites making sweeping claims without showing evidence. Beat Babesia is my attempt to put the underlying sources in front of readers and make the difference between established treatment, experimental evidence and personal experience obvious.
I give the most weight to authoritative clinical guidance and human evidence. Animal and in-vitro findings are useful for biological plausibility, but they are not presented as proof that an intervention works in people. When evidence conflicts, the conflicting result belongs on the page too.
Cryptolepis and artemisinin are the two products I personally used during my Babesia experience. I am sharing what I used, not prescribing a treatment. The other items are practical support products people may find useful while keeping track of medications, supplements, and hydration.
